Troop 845 Uniform Policy

Troop 845 policy is to not exclude any scout. We would like for all scouts to have a full class A uniform (shirt, pants (shorts), socks, neckerchief) by the time they are a 1st class scout. The uniforms are expensive, for unknown reasons. There are used uniforms around, so ask. We have a swap box with many scouting tee shirts and some class A uniform pieces. We request that new parents obtain a scout shirt with the appropriate badges. We expect that all scouts will have a full class A uniform by the time the do their 1st class board of review.
Bruce Sinclair has a small stock of scouting materials that he brings to most meetings. This includes specific troop insignia such as tee shirts and neckerchiefs and other BSA items. Not all of the material is available from him. You may obtain more BSA items from the scout shop in Raleigh. See the occoneechee web page for directions. Otherwise, you may order from the National Scoutshop . They do not do on-line ordering, but take phone orders.

Class B uniforms in Troop 845 is any scouting Tee shirt. We always travel in class B and we would like all scouts to be in a Troop 845 Tee shirt. Bruce has troop tees for $5 each.
